Staples Inc. office supplies is currently hiring for their virtual call center in the Baton Rouge area.

 

Work @ Home Customer Service Agents

 

We have work-at-home opportunities out of our new contact center. These positions involve receiving incoming calls and providing superior customer care and sales with the intent of providing customer satisfaction and retention, and meeting sales goals.

The preferred candidate will have previous call center experience, a solid work history, and the desire to become an integral part of the Quill Order Processing Team. A successful candidate will have the ability to continue to learn in whatever role they assume and take the initiative to get to the next level.
Candidates MUST have a secure, private area in their home or work location to take phone calls and service customers. The workstation MUST be free from all outside noise and distractions during the entire work schedule. The work location must be in the local BATON ROUGE calling area and have a reliable high-speed internet connection (no dial-up connections). We are not an outsourcer or a contractor. Employees work for Quill and have set full-time  (11:30 AM- 8 PM, M-F) . (schedules will not vary from week to week).
Candidates must be available to attend onsite training at our contact center. The training will take approximately 4 to 6 months.
After training is completed, work-at-home agents work from their home work stations and report to the contact center approximately once a month for meetings and training.

These positions start at $9.05 per hour and are eligible for our extensive benefits program on the first day of the month after 90-days of employment.

 

Essential skills:
1.Excellent oral communication skills, above average or average written communication skills.
2.Customer service oriented aptitude and skills
3. Excellent Data entry/typing skills
4. Ability to quickly navigate the internet using multiple screens at one time.
5.Positive attendance record and work history
6.Must be able to pass a complete background check including a clean criminal history.
7.Work-at-home agents must also consent to periodic home workstation visits.
