Moverzfax is launching a national campaign to select the BEST in the field for each state. One individual PER STATE (or cluster of states) will be selected during this selection process. Work at Home: Social Media

If you have become an expert in social media over the years and find yourself answering questions

Work at Home: Internet Assessors

Lionbridge is a company that I have posted about several times in the past. Right now they are hiring for several positions once more. Here is a brief description of each.  All of these positions are working with a major search engine in order to improve results and quality of those search engine results.

Internet Assessor- help make internet search engine results more relevant. You will score results
according to the quality and relevance 

Mobile Search Evaluator This position is very similar to the internet assessor position but you will be scoring the quality and relevance of search engine results for mobile users

Ad Assessor- This position is working within a web-based application comparing user search engine queries and advertiser keywords with website landing pages. The Ad Assessor must judge the relevancy and relationship between the page itself and the query, keyword and ad snippets on the page.

Internet Crowd Worker-The main purpose of this role is to perform research and to capture your opinions to ensure the best results possible are achieved to make a difference to the user experience.

Social Media Internet Assessor- For this position they are specifically looking for those active on social media sites, specifically those with an active Gmail and Google+ account. They want creative thinkers who enjoy browsing the internet and would like to express their opinion on the quality and content of what is currently out there on the web.

Work-At-Home: Social Media Moderator

Many of you who are bloggers or active on social media have probably heard of LiveWorld.  They
are known for handling content and social media for a number of large companies. Moderating for some of these brands includes monitoring their content or social media sites. This may include monitoring a client`s Facebook posts and comments, message boards, or blog entries. This may also include responding to questions or comments according to a client`s or brand`s direction.

Here is a list of skills they would like to see.
REQUIRED SKILLS/TRAITS:
  • Demonstrated social media super-user (including Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
  • Current and active participation in Facebook fan pages, groups and discussion threads a plus
  • Involvement with online community activities/types of content (blogs, video, images, audio, discussion board posts, etc.) is a must
  • Strong writing skills are a plus
  • Previous moderation experiences preferred, but not required

Work-at-Home: Nutrition Editor

Demand Studios, in my opinion, is a great place to work as a freelance writer online. There are pros
and cons to many of the sites out there but I have found the feedback provided to the writers with Demand Studios makes it an excellent place to learn and grow as a writer. They have many different topic areas they cover but right now they are hiring for a nutrition copy editor. Here is the basic job description from Demand Studios:

Work at Home: Educational Scorer

Many of you, like me, have worked for some of the online scoring companies in the past such as ETS
or Pearson. Right now, an educational company called Write Score is hiring for a similar position. They are currently hiring 100 scorers. These positions run about the length of the school year from August to May. Scorers will read individual essays and assign independent scores that accurately describe those attributes of the essay. Specific skills they are looking for include:
  • Ability to communicate and respond to specific directives 
  • Meet specific deadlines 2-year degree 
  • Successful completion of training 
  • Email access 
  • Computer literate

Work at Home: Transcription

General transcription work at home jobs are hard to come by, and for those without the training to do
medical transcription, it is a great opportunity. Schlesinger Associates is currently hiring for an experienced transcriber work at home position. You must have experience transcribing focus groups and market research interviews.
Pay ranges from $10 - $12 per 15 minutes of audio.
All applicants must be US based.
Here is a list of requirements per the job posting:
- Market Research transcription experience preferred
- High accuracy (98% or better)
- Advanced knowledge of proper grammar, sentence structure, and punctuation rules
- Ability to successfully meet tight deadlines
