At-Home Answer Line Specialists-Colorado Springs, CO
We are searching for At-Home Answer Lines Specialists who live in the Colorado Springs, CO metro area and would be available to work part-time between the hours of 5 am – 9 am, or noon – 3 pm MT Tuesday-Thursday.
This position is limited to less than 20 hours per week. We will provide Company-owned computers for Specialists to use in their homes. We provide a fully-paid training program that takes place in our Colorado Springs, CO call center.
A Specialist can sign up in advance to work as many conferences as s/he wants each day, but must be available to work a minimum of 14 hours each week after training is completed. Specialists can expect to handle many callers in a short period of time in this pre-conference phase, which lasts approximately 30 minutes.
Responsibilities
The At-Home Answer Lines Specialist (aka WHALE) would help deliver high-quality telephone conferencing experiences for our customers in the pre-conference phase by greeting callers on the phone; gathering information about the callers and conferences they are joining; entering the information into our computer system; and placing the callers into the conferences they are attending.
Required Experience
One year previous customer service experience
Required Education
High School Diploma or GED
Required Skills
• Accurate typing speed of 30 wpm
• Computer experience, including basic knowledge of Windows, MS Office, and the Internet
• Ability to effectively perform multiple tasks simultaneously – listening, typing and talking
• Strong customer service aptitude
• Good English grammar and usage
Minimum Qualifications
• Hard-wire phone line that can be dedicated to the job while performing it (sorry, no cellular, wireless, cable or VoIP lines qualify) *
• High-speed internet connection (DSL or better – no satellite)*
• Separate, quiet space in the home available for performing the work
• Ability to attend and complete the Full Time training program in person at our Colorado Springs, CO facility (8-4 MF for 4 weeks)
• Satisfactory results on reference and criminal background checks
*After 90 days of employment, the Company will assist with any start-up costs incurred to install high-speed internet and/or a dedicated hard-wire phone line by reimbursing hires 80% of such expenses up to a maximum of $150.
