Ad Quality Raters are responsible for giving feedback on the quality and content accuracy of advertisements on Google. Basically they need a human element to verify that their algorithm is providing the right kinds of results for exactly what a person is looking for. How Do You Work from Home As A Google Ads Quality Rater?
All positions require a four year college degree. Applicants must already have their own computer with a high speed internet connection. If applying for one of the bilingual positions then you must also be fluent in that language. Raters are hired as independent contractors and must work at least ten hours per week to stay active. Raters usually start at around $15 an hour. Most positions are contractual for a one year time period. You can then reapply after a waiting period. The positions are not usually advertised on the Google career site so you must apply for them through the ZeroChaos website (the third party company that does some of the hiring) and search for the terms “ads quality rater”. You have to be fairly knowledgeable with basic computer skills. Before being hired you are given some study materials and are then tested on how well you understand the rating system they will be using for rating.
