The TwitterMoms Network has posted information for a position with Parents.com magazine for an online community advocate.
Responsibilities
20 hours per week position
10 hours allocated to researching and reaching out to niche organizations, sites and social avenues to reach new audiences and increase community membership (brand evangelism)
Welcome new members
Represent the TwitterMoms community within the Parents.com community
Identify, approach and encourage new community volunteer hosts
Host assigned groups
Communicate editorial and admin messages to users
Monitor site for issues and feedback from users on issues
Monitor and report technical issues
Surface groups and discussions of interest
Draw from your own contacts and resources to build up new and existing community groups Network and engage with other like-minded women
Connect with other influential moms on Parents behalf – personal and professional contact opportunities
