Transcription work from home jobs are a very sought after way to make money from home. There are a lot of scams out there but if you are looking for a real work from home transcription job then 3Play Media is a great company to apply with.
What is Transcription?
Transcription is a career where you are transferring some type of file from an audio file to a typed file. It is used in a variety of fields such as transcribing medical notes from a doctor or legal recordings from a legal proceeding or even something as simple as transcribing notes from a corporate meeting or conference call.
In order to be good at transcription you need to be both an accurate and fast typist. There are some companies that hire people without experience but many of the companies look for people who have previous transcription in-office experience or previous training before hiring for work from home transcription positions.
You can check out other companies on our transcription work from home jobs blog post. There are over 100 companies listed there. If you have no previous transcription experience and are interested in learning be sure to check out Transcribe Anywhere. They are the only online transcription course I recommend because there are so many out there that are scams or have poor reviews. They offer a free mini-course for those interested. They also have a legal transcription free mini-course for those interested in specializing in that, it is even higher in demand.
